Sean Walker
Sean started out as a freelance architectural designer thirty years ago.
His first project was the urban renewal of five old houses in Mount Cook, Wellington, combining traditional materials with high-tech solutions to provide contemporary homes that were sympathetic to the historic streetscape.
He was given an exciting and challenging opportunity when asked to manage the restoration of an eighteenth century chateau in Bordeaux. This was in the high-profile area of Medoc. Other historic projects have included a fifteenth century cottage in England, and the award winning commercial conversion of an historic building in the High Street, Christchurch.
Fulfilling a lifelong dream, he and Vicky restored a classic fifty-foot kauri ketch before setting sail on a circumnavigation. During their years away he worked on some interesting projects in England and in Moorea, French Polynesia.
They now live in Nelson but Sean continues to work in Wellington and Christchurch, as well as the top of the South Island.

Victoria oversees the day-to-day running of the business.
Originally she is from England but spent the early part of her life in East Africa.
She returned to Britain to finish her studies. London was home for many years until she was asked to help set up and manage a popular wholefood restaurant in Brighton. She later established another successful restaurant in Wellington.
Her first visit to New Zealand was thirty years ago. She later applied for residency and moved to Aotearoa where she initially worked in publishing.
For over twenty years she and Sean have worked together on many projects in many different places.
Their personal project at the moment is a bach in beautiful Golden Bay, near Farewell Spit. Situated in a sensitive coastal area amongst mature kanuka trees it will have its own power supply, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater treatment system. This is a work in progress!
